Line Control contains vinegar, chlorine and salt, elements that in moderation are safe to our bodies and for that very reason, we feel is the safer alternative for the environment and minimize ground damage.
Although, Line Control is not in concentrate form, lets first review the following precautions:
Even though, Line Control ingredients are safer to you and the environment (compared to many other market products), it is not recommended to come into physical contact with the solution, it is recommended to keep it at a safe distance of about two feet from your nose and from your eyes.
Do not spray the solution at anything other than unwanted grass and weeds, keep away from children and pets, allow about two hours before letting your pets near sprayed areas, four hours for children to safely be within two feet of sprayed areas.
The beauty of Line Control is its gentleness, wearing a mask during use is not required, this is solely up to user discretion; low wind and dry conditions help the product work better, prevent runoff by making sure no rainfall is forecasted for at least 4 hours. The gentleness of Line Control meets the needs of various situations, around the garden, trees, fence lines, etc.
To maximize Line Control impact, it is recommended to weed eat/wack the area prior to using Line Control, then pour Line Control into sprayer, pump and ready to go. Here are some tips, set your distance from the ground between 1 and 2 feet so that your ground coverage area is about 1 foot wide, the solution will start working immediately, but expect visible results within 24 to 48 hours.
Because of the gentleness of Line Control, two or three applications on the same area may be needed simply to get rid of whatever is left, which implies less liquid consumption; this gentleness allows you to spray around trees and your garden.
If in doubt, always spray a very small amount, wait 48 hours before spraying more, this safe technique is used to avoid damaging wanted vegetation, like trees and vegetables.
Well, our story is not that special, but here it goes:
As a home owner one wants to have an always maintained lawn, the problem is that I don't mind mowing as much as I mind weed eating, and even though there are plenty of weed killer products on the market, most of them have chemicals I just won't trust, specially that chemical that hides under the 98% of "other ingredients", enough complaining.
Truth be told, after doing some research it turned out that the basic ingredients of vinegar, chlorine and salt, do the job, not as other chemicals, but good enough for me, I think the chlorine was my idea; so I poured the solutions and sprayed around the pool, a day later, over 50% of weeds turned brown, this wasn't 100% success, but the fact that I didn't have to wear a mask, and did not feel bad afterwards was huge for me, plus, there was progress and I sprayed again about a week later and the week after, so three times, but I used less "Line Control" each time, at the time I had not come up with the name.
So that's the story of the product, I really like it, serves me well and I thought, maybe other people may find it useful too, after all, keeping yards in good shape is more like a fight; I told my wife, this weed killer solution is a game changer for yard maintenance, yes it may take me a bit to cover all the areas where I don't want grass, but it's going to be sweet once it's done, and best part is not having the thought that I'm slowly dying because of glysophocate chemicals and 98% unknown ingredients.
My mind keeps going to "I'm finally going to have time for other yard plants", plus there are some areas where I put garden fabric, but it's filled with grass, so I plan to spray all that, and I sprayed already around our oak trees, our pine trees, fence line; the plan is to spray where ever the mower can't fit, including around our other little trees, papaya trees, lemon trees, etc, I even sprayed inside the chicken coop, get rid of all those microscopic bugs that nag our chickens, chickens still alive and well.
